Membership 2011

Please note:
Applications for new members closed on 30/09/2011. Only people who applied for new membership before that time and who have met the acceptance criteria communicated to them by the membership secretary will be allowed to join as new members.

If your membership has lapsed you are no longer classed as a member of the society and you would have needed to apply to re-join as a new member this year. If you did not do this you will not be allowed to become a member of CSBS this year.

Important notice
We are aware of a growing number of people who march with us on the night and who have not bothered to join the Society. This practice will not be tolerated by the Society and this year we will be undertaking on the spot checks of people walking in our ranks. If you are found to not have a badge and a wrist band, you will be escorted from the procession and you will not be allowed on the firesite.
Bonifide members should also be vigilant of this unfortunate practice and inform Society officials of people who they believe are not members. After all, you have paid and why should people walk with CSBS if they have not!
